The first time I went to that chapel I cried... I'm not a religious person but it was *so* beautiful, and then to know so much of it had stood through centuries of human crap... Lovely photo... It's a challenge to shoot in there.

hi jess. thanks for the comment. i was really awed by this chapel the first time i went (once i found out how to get up to the second floor), an awe that was undiminished with my second visit. a friend of mine tells me that i have to go to chartes. maybe on my next trip to paris . . .
