On my last day in Moscow, the sun shone through the clouds. I was used to the days being overcast and grey, and the suddenly bright skies confused me. The city was suddenly transformed, and I felt as though I had stepped into an alternate Moscow.

Moscow flower shop
I'm recently returned from a trip to Beijing by way of Moscow. I took the train, crossing Russia, through Mongolia, and on towards the coast of China. It was at times breathtaking, at times monotonous. I'll be posting some color photos over the next few days now that I think I've resuscitated this blog (the comments aren't quite working right at the moment, but I'm working on it.) Below, there are links to two series I've posted of the trip, divided by train line.
