ARCHIVED UPDATES

Wednesday, 2 January 2008

Happy New Year everyone. I'm back from Asia and editing photos from Japan and Taiwan. We'll see how they turn out.

Thursday, 6 September 2007

I've launched a photoblog of black and white photography, taken with a Rollei 35 S and a Leica M6. It's called monochrome.

Wednesday, 20 December 2006

Sunday morning I got up early to go check out the murals at 11 Spring Street. Here are the photos.

Monday, 27 November 2006

I've uploaded photos and journal entries of Ethiopia from my trip this past Fall. I put the text and photos together since I didn't have the opportunity to blog from the road.

Tuesday, 22 April 2006

Kee's Chocolates site launched. Sweetness! Oh! And I've finally updated the portfolio of palgrave book covers I've designed for palgrave.

Tuesday, 31 January 2006

Happy Chinese New Year! I've just posted photos from my trip to Morocco. And I've launched a quick site for Factory 630, a new film production company. Best to all!

Thursday, 14 July 2005

It's time to get serious. Maybe. I've started working on an online photography portfolio: fotokuo. Comments, critiques welcome. And Happy Bastille Day!

Saturday, 28 May 2005

I'm back from Cannes. It was an amazing experience. I've posted some snapshots here.

Tuesday, 1 March 2005

The New Globe Theater site has been unveiled to the public at large. The previous flash site is now a brochure site tucked into an html site (the better to follow the news of its progress). Frantically designed and updated to coincide with a New York Times article about the project that ran on Saturday.

Monday, 17 January 2005

It's been a long time coming but I've finally put together a site of color photos from the Middle East. It's been a long cold weekend, so I decided to go back through the images I took and finally show some of them. In other news, Jeff Chang's site Can't Stop Won't Stop is up. His book on the history of the hip hop generation comes out next month. Thanks to Shinji for some of the heavy lifting codewise on that one.

Thursday, 4 November 2004

I'm heading to California for a week, first to attend a wedding in Death Valley and then to spend some time in L.A. visiting friends. I should still be reachable but intermittently. New projects to post soon (I hope).

Monday, 25 October 2004

It's been about time for an update for a while. I'm once again back in New York after spending 25 Days in Turkey in the late summer/early fall, which nicely complimented my Spring visit to the Middle East.

Today also marks the soft launch of Sticker Shock, an audioblog curated by Sasha Frere-Jones, Dave Tompkins, Hua Hsu, and Jeff Chang. The minimal design puts the focus on the music while evoking the idea of a used record store. Where else can you get so many choice cuts for so little cash?

Finally, I've started a digifotoblog (THREE.2) to augment my film fotoblog (cbp).

Friday, 6 August 2004

I'm back in New York. Just updated the site with some book covers that I've designed this week. Six down, three more to go. Listening to Utada Hikaru.

Wendesday, 28 July 2004

I'm heading to San Francisco for the weekend. In the meantime, the website I designed (and ended up having to code) for On the Brink has just launched. You can now go to the site to learn about global warming and see a film that was supposed to be shown at Lollapalooza until they pulled the plug on the festival. Also, I've posted a selection of stills that I took last weekend on the set of Eric Lin's Fishkill.

Friday, 9 July 2004

Black and white photos from the Middle East are now posted! You can find them here. Color photos to come later. I've also included recent book covers designed for Palgrave below. And don't forget to buy a T-shirt!
