Morning walk in SoHo
One thing I always remember about travelling through Southeast Asia is the tradition shop-keepers have of washing the pavement before their stores. Where roads are unpaved, they scatter water about their storefronts, to keep the dust down. I took this photo while walking to work on morning last year. It reminded me of those stores and storeowners preparing themselves for a day's business, the sun just rising above the buildings, the shadows cast long.

Tena koe ehoa I like this, I like the light and the temperature it equates is in a way defining the image moment also, it reeks of morning because of the light because of the temperature.Posted by ndiginiz on 20 Jan 2008, 4.07 AM

Tena koe ehoa I do like it, though whether elemental or human, I think it lacks a little intensity. Dimensional attributes are superb and the composition for a portrait orientation give us the viewers a brief description of the perspective.
