February 25, 2006Chance encounterThis evening I stood at the northwest corner of Macy's. I had walked up to 34th street and then, not knowing what to do, I stood and contemplated what I wanted to do. A man stopped in front of me. "Are you lost?" he asked. "No," I said. "I just don't know what I want to be doing right now." He smiled. "That's alright," he said.
