April 13, 2007Babies 'r' meYesterday I held Maxine for the first time. In the past she was too small and I was afraid. She's now four months old and her personality has become more distinct. She can also hold herself up. When babies are little, I'm afraid for their floppy heads. During the course of our lunch, she was very well behaved. And afterwards, when Jean and I were sitting in the restaurant, she happily stared out the window. She cries a little every time she farts.Simone started labor yesterday afternoon. She said she'd text from the delivery room but I haven't heard anything thus far. A couple of weeks ago, my brother made me an uncle for the second time. I have a patch of grey hair on my head in the shape of a square. I shave my head so it's not as noticeable. I need to book a ticket to Denver. listening to: Andrew Bird, archair apocrypha

Wow, you're surrounded by babies. I guess we're at that age. First there's a wave of weddings, and then there's a wave of births. Just saw Simone's baby's photo on her nephew's blog.
