A-Mei at Mohegan Sun [2/2]
For Christmas I took my parents to see A-Mei, a Taiwanese pop singer. She performed at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut. The audience was generally older, but there were a few pockets of people dancing in their seats, and she would walk over and blow kisses to them. She was amazing, drawing on seemingly infinite reserves of energy to fill the stadium when so little was given back to her. In the end, she won me over completely.
