Tad's Broiled Steaks
I'm taking a break from posting Holga shots while I await my next roll to be developed. I'll be posting some pictures from my Leica iiiF in the coming days from a roll I took a while ago and only just developed. This is of Tad's Steaks on 42nd Street where the steaks are, I would imagine, a little more than 25 cents. In college, I once had a roommate named Tad.

I am also looking for co-conspirators for two Holga-based multiple exposure projects I'm contemplating. One would be with someone from Tokyo or Osaka, and the other would be ideally from someone living near or planning to visit a tropical rain forest.

The former would be a set of night photos of Tokyo or Osaka taken by someone shooting Tri-X on a 6x6 frame. The film would then be sent to me so I could shoot New York on a 6x4.5 frame. I'm thinking of pushing the film two stops to allow for the lower light photography. The latter would operate on the same principle. Ideally, the result will be a scroll of sorts alternating between cross-cultural city identities on the one hand, and between "concrete" and "natural" jungles on the other. (I chose Toyko or Osaka for the former because of the strong night lighting of those cities, but I could see how a place like Taipei or Hong Kong could work—it might be interesting to do HK in color). Leave a comment if interested or contact me. Note I've never tried this, so I'm kind of guessing it will work. :-)
