Flatiron
The first day of Spring is this Friday. Today, it snowed in New York, up to three inches. This is a Holga shot of the Flatiron, the first place I worked in the city. The day I interviewed for the job New York was hit with one of the biggest snowstorms of the 90s. After my interview, I called my friend Ken. We went to the Knitting Factory that night and by the time we left the club, the streets were covered in snow. I hadn't realized it was in the forecast. A month later I got the call, and two weeks after that moved down from Boston. Every year I think I'm going to leave, but it hasn't happened yet. And another year is about to begin.
